Webmail

Webmail is an MTU Email Gateway service that permits you to access your email using only a web browser. You can access this program anywhere; all you need is internet access (ethernet, dial-up or cable modem). Open a web browser and go to this URL:

http://webmail.mtu.edu/

1. Type in your username in the Userid field.
2. Select "imap.sbe.mtu.edu" from the drop-down list in IMAP Hostname.
3. Type in your email (Unix) password in the Password field.
4. Click Check Mail.
5. Under "Options", Your E-mail should be: username@mtu.edu to get correct reply behavior.
