 What is a Industrial Forestry?

This Certificate program, jointly administered by the School of Forestry and Enviromental Sciences (SFEC) and the School of Business and Economics (SBE), is designed to give students a very basic working knowledge of Forestry and Wood Products and Business and Management.

BSBA majors earn the Certificate if they complete FW1035 Wood Anatomy and Properties (3 credits), FW2010 Vegetation of North America (4), FW2050 Measuring Forest Resources (3) and FW3098 Mill Tour and Seminar (2).

SFEC students earn this Certificate if they complete EC3001 Principles of Economics (3), EC3400 Economic Decision Analysis (3), BA2300 Accounting Principles I (3), and BA4710 Project Management (3) or BA4760 Strategic Leadership (3).
