Certificate in International Business

 What is International Business?

Nowhere is there greater potential for increased understanding in the world than in the international studies arena. One interesting and rewarding way to acquire understanding of the world is within the area of international business. The vast majority of university graduates over the 21st century will be involved in international business: either directly as expatriates assigned to international managerial or technical posts or as employees of domestic business, government, and non-profit organizations that employ multicultural work forces.

It is crucial, therefore, that university students explore international business so they will be prepared to apply successful principles in their personal and professional lives.

The Certificate in International Business at MTU includes explorations in areas of economics, management, law, accounting, marketing, organizational behavior, communication, and modern language. Also available, are opportunities to complete a portion of a student's education in an international setting such as Asia, Europe, or Latin America.
