Overview of the Dual Degree Program

The Dual Degree offering for students who have earned, or are earning, a first bachelor's degree enables students to establish a firm foundation in the principles of business. Upon completion of the Dual Degree graduates will have earned two bachelors degrees. Their business degree compliments the primary degree and identifies the graduate for potential leadership/management positions to employers.

Objectives of the Dual Degree Program

  1. Graduates are expected to have a broad core of knowledge in business topics. These include Accounting, Marketing, Finance, and Management.
  2. Graduates are expected to be able to use this second bachelor's degree as a complement to their first degree. The Dual Degree in Business should significantly enhance the graduate's market ability.
  3. The SBE expects the dual degree in business will help graduates move up their chosen career ladder to positions of increased responsibility.
