 What is an Economics Minor?

A minor in economics is a program of study where a student becomes acquainted with basic concepts and more advanced topics in economics. The minor in economics requires 18 credit hours of economics courses in addition to the regular requirements for a Bachelor of Science degree at MTU. The 18 credit hours are split into 9 credit hours of principles and theory economics courses and 9 credit hours of economics electives.
